যে শব্দ দ্বারা সংখ্যা,পরিমাপ এবং মালিকানা বোঝায় কিন্তু কুয়ালিটি বোঝায় না তাকে determiner বলে।
Determiner অবস্থান ভেদে ২ প্রকার Pre determiner এবং centre Determiner.
Determiner এর প্রকারভেদ
Article> a,an,the
Demonstrative>That,those,this,these
Possessive>my,your,his,her,their,its
Number 2 types:
Cardinal>one,two,three
Ordinal>first,second,third
Distributive> each,every,either,neither
Quantifiers>any,some,many,a many,a deal of,
Interrogative: what, which
Categories as countable and uncountable:
1 countable:
Few, a few,very vew, the few,Many,a many,a great many,too many,a good many + plural noun+plural verb
2 uncountable :
Some,little,a little,the little+singular noun+singula verb
3 Both types:
A number of + plural noun+plural verb
The number of + plural noun + singular verb
Note:
a many =plural
Many a =singular
A lot of, lots of,plenty of
এরা count and uncount noun উভয় ক্ষেত্রে বসে
Countable থাকলে অর্থ হয় many/a number of
Uncountable থাকলে অর্থ হয় much/a large amount of

One and a half:
One and a half+plural noun+singular verb.

All takes verb depending on what it means.
Most:
A most= a very (positive)
The most= superlative
Most = majority (most+noun)
No:
No as a noun =a/the no,noes
No as an adverb = He is no more
No as an adjective = No boys,no money
